Suzi Quazar: Space Girl Adventurer
Had a wildly productive weekend of being able to complete the modelling on the space scene for the Issue 1 cartoon got wrapped this weekend.
I’ll post up some of the test shots here in a little bit. Still editing the novella of Issue 1, but it is still on track to be complete in November.
I have been working on the novelization of the Suzi story so far, and my rough draft broke the 10k word mark this week, and that was just on Issue 1. I’ll put the story up here once I get a good first draft done and see what you guys think so far. I go in much greater detail about what’s going on, and I cover how Suzi came to be in the ship in the first place. I’m using dictation software to write the story, and I’ve been able to grind out thousands of words a day. Fun times!
And I’m back. Man, it was a crazy run there thru the summer, between work and a couple of other projects needing more attention than was projected. Anyhoo, I am back on Suzi for the rest of the summer and fall, so let’s get this crazy ride back on the road!
Wow, the year is flying by. I’ve been working on 2D animation in my spare time. Much more fun, in a way, than the 3D Suzi work I have been doing.

Hey, choose ALL the sci-fi adventure comics! And speaking of comics, I have been reading a ton of silver age comics and writing reviews over at jaheath.com. Just sayin….
Ahh, that new comic smell, can’t beat it! After a bit of time to reflect, I see a bright future for our azure-tressed heroine!
Wow, what a hectic couple of months. Work changed around as one project ends and another begins. But that is how life goes!
And then there was one! Hard to believe that we are almost at the end of Issue 3! I have spent the past two months quietly working on the animated series, and that required more attention that I thought it would. I know the comic has been skipped for a couple of weeks, but I think you guys will like what I have done so far.
